Commanding the First Wave, a discussion of the attack on Pearl Harbor

by Brian Shiroyama, docent for the 442nd Nisei exhibit.

The 442nd Nisei exhibit on the USS Hornet discusses the experiences of Japanese-Americans during WW2. Brian will be covering a discussion he had with a mission leader from the attack on Pearl Harbor.

This event is free with your regular admission to the museum. The Wardroom is downstairs from the Hangar Bay and it requires descending one ladder to attend.

The First Battle of Midway

by Russell Moore, author and USS Hornet staff member. This short presentation discusses the little known Japanese attack on Midway Island on December 7th in support of the Pearl Harbor strike.
