The USS Hornet has long been a participant and supporter of the San Francisco Fleet Week activities. This year most of the main Fleet Week events have been moved online. Please see https://fleetweeksf.org/ for more information.

Due to the open air nature of the USS Hornet (Flight Deck and Hangar Bay), we will be open on Saturday and Sunday during Fleet Week (Oct 10th-11th) from 10 AM to 5 PM. Several of our docents are Navy Veterans and they will be happy share with you the long Navy history of the USS Hornet (1943-1970) from World War II until the Apollo program.
