The 79th anniversary of the famous Doolittle Raid is on April 18th, 2021. The USS Hornet Museum will be observing this event with a dedicated Doolittle Raid webpage as well as a temporary exhibit on the ship for the weekend of April 17th-18th.

The exhibit will feature a collection of display boards with photos, paintings and infographics. An exhibit table will hold some small artifacts from our collection and we will have a short looping video with a good overview of the Raid. This will be set up in Hangar Bay 3-ask any USS Hornet staff member and they will direct you to the exhibit.
