Apollo Program: Politics and Technology

Please join us for this virtual event on March 31st from 6 PM to 7 PM PST.

We will be hosting a joint presentation by Dr. Teasel Muir-Harmony, curator of the Space History Department at Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and author of the book “Operation Moonglow: A Political History of the Project Apollo” and Bill Miklos, USS Hornet Docent and former Lockheed Martin Space System Engineer.

They will discuss the Apollo Program, from the perspective of the technical and political and afterwards there will be time for Q&A.

This event will be free and we will be broadcasting on Facebook Live. To view the event, simply go to the USS Hornet Facebook page a little before 6 pm on the 31st and watch for a message that says: Facebook Live Event happening now. Click on that and you will be connected to our live broadcast. Tip: Sometimes you need to to click the play button on the video as well.
