Please Note! The City of Alameda will also be hosting a marathon Sunday morning, so, if you are planning on arriving before Noon, we strongly recommend the following driving directions to ensure a smooth arrival!

FAQs
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Museum has free parking at the base of the pier. Click here for driving directions.
Public transportation is limited and likely will require calling a Lyft/Uber/taxi to complete the trip to the Museum. As advance notice, Alameda Point will also be hosting a half marathon on this day, while there are no street closures guests may experience traffic delays due to runners from 10 AM – 10:30 AM.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We recommend that you do bring your printed ticket for proof of purchase.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
It is okay if you transfer your ticket to another person–the name does not have to match.
Accessibility?
The Museum is a National and State Historic Landmark, and as such retains its original steep stairs throughout the ship. Those guests who are mobility impaired will only have access to the main Hangar Deck and can access the Flight Deck if they are able to stand upright for a short time (going up and down an escalator).
Cosplay Day Policies:
BAGS
All functioning bags (regardless if part of a cosplay or not) must meet bag size restrictions of 12”x8”x12”. A bag check area will be provided outside of the USS Hornet Museum by Kraken Con staff.
DRESS CODE
All clothing and costumes must be appropriate under Alameda County and California public decency laws and all private parts must be covered – no nudity allowed. There should be no chance of slippage or gaps. Additionally:
