Corporate Engagement Opportunities

There are several ways that your business can partner with us, including donations, in-kind giving, event . exhibit, and programming sponsorships, and employee volunteer service opportunities. You can play a vital role in supporting Museum exhibits, programs, events, and preservation efforts. The Museum will recognize your donation in our publications and will offer your employees and business opportunities to enjoy the Museum from discounts on overnight programs to event rentals.

Sponsor an Event, Exhibit or Program

The USS Hornet Museum is a nonprofit organization that relies on a variety of funding sources for its exhibits and programs. The Museum is not supported in any way by regular grants from city, county, state or federal sources.

Event Sponsorships help make our public events successful and greatly improve our ability to market the event, keep pricing affordable for families, create scholarships to bring in different members of the local community, and produce memorable experiences once our visitors come aboard. We have several well-attended events throughout the year, such as the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve. Sponsorships start at $1,000 and include several benefits, such as visibility in the Museum and our website, admission passes, and a corporate-level membership. We can work with you to put together a package to meet your needs.

Exhibit Sponsorships help us introduce new exhibits or upgrade existing ones. The greatest challenge we face in achieving our vision for developing unique and engaging exhibitions is the funds needed to created immersive and interactive experiences for our visitors. Our Collection and Exhibitions’ mission is to preserve, protect, and present stories of WWII in the Pacific Theatre in a way which is exciting, educational, and emotionally transforming for our visitors, leaving them wanting more and feeling motivated to share their experience with their friends and family.

Program Sponsorships allow our Education Department to offer scholarships to cover field trip fees. Our STEM programs serve over 12,000 students a year, and with your support, we can offer this opportunity to Title I schools that otherwise may not have the funds to visit

Corporate Giving

In-kind gifts are a great way to support our Restoration, Events, and Education Teams. We receive many gifts of tooling, materials, and supplies that are crucial to our upkeep of the ship and allowing us to open new spaces to visitors.

Employee Volunteer Service Events

There’s always plenty of work to do around the ship! We have hosted employee service days for several local companies, including Home Depot, KPMG, and others. You can enjoy a day aboard the ship, including a tour, while making a difference!
