Looking for a truly unique, VIP experience for your small group? You can now book a personalized, private overnight adventure aboard the legendary USS Hornet! Perfect for families, friend groups, or special celebrations, this exclusive experience puts a historic aircraft carrier at your disposal.
Pricing & Group Sizes:
- Groups of 10 or under: Flat rate of $1,000
- Groups of 11 to 20 people: Flat rate of $2,000
- Please note: All guests must be at least 7 years old. Meals are not included.
Your Custom Adventure: Because this is a completely private event, the night is yours to customize. Work with our team to design your perfect evening itinerary—whether you want to hunt for the ship’s famous ghosts, dive deep into naval history, or enjoy a thrilling combination of both!
The Itinerary:
- 8:00 PM: Board the ship and settle in.
- 8:30 PM – 11:00 PM: Personalized guided tours.
- 10:00 PM: Lights out. (To ensure safety, absolutely no after-hours or self-guided touring is permitted after lights out.)
- 8:00 AM: Reveille! Rise and shine for a brand new day.
- Morning: Enjoy an optional morning flight deck tour.
- 10:00 AM: The overnight program concludes.
*Upgraded Private Officer Staterooms Available: $50.00 per person.
Extend Your Stay: The fun doesn’t have to stop at 10:00 AM! If the museum is open to the public that day, your group is welcome to stay and explore the ship for the rest of the day at no extra cost. (If the museum is closed to the public that day, guests must depart by 10:00 AM).
