The National Naval Air Museum in Pensacola Florida has loaned F/A-18C Hornet BU #163502 to the USS Hornet Museum to add to our aircraft collection. This aircraft is very famous for its participation in Operation Desert Storm where it, while being flown by Captain Nicholas “Mongo” Mongillo, engaged and shot down an Iraqi Mig-21.
