Join us for tea in the Officers’ Wardroom for a winter tea service! Eat and drink from vintage USN china aboard the historic aircraft carrier USS Hornet and explore the ship! We will have two seatings, one at 11 AM and another at 3 PM. All profits from this tea will go toward improving the Museum’s exhibitions and caring for its collection of artifacts!

Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket. For those that have not, we will be hosting another officers’ tea in May 2020. To get notified when those dates are published, please send an inquiry to collections@uss-hornet.org.

  • Set of 3 Finger Sandwiches:
    • Cucumber Dill
    • Cheddar and Pear Chutney
    • Turkey and Cranberry (can be subbed for another of the two vegetarian options above)
  • Mini Broccoli and Cheese Quiche
  • Winter Salad
• Sweet Items
  • Mini Mince Pie
  • Gingerbread Cake
  • Chocolate Orange Macaron

For those guests who wish to take a little extra home, extra Sweets will be also available for sale that day, with proceeds going to exhibitions and artifact care and protection!

FAQs:

• Please note that we are able to accommodate vegetarians but no other dietary needs, though we will keep a peanut-free kitchen.
• As this is a fundraiser, tickets for the tea are non-refundable, though they may be transferred to other people.
• As this ticket includes General Admission, guests can arrive at the Museum at any time after it opens at 10 AM and gain entry by presenting proof of purchase at Admissions. We ask that all guests assemble by the Admissions Desk approximately 10 minutes before their scheduled seating.
• Tea service is being held in the Officers’ Wardroom on the 2nd Deck and guests will need to navigate one ladder down. For Accessibility information, please see our Accessibility page.
