Saturday, October 30, 2010 Monster Bash
Is the USS Hornet Haunted? Bring the whole family and find out. The USS Hornet Museum holds its annual Monster Bash onboard the “Grey Ghost.” Visitors will get a good fright throughout the evening with haunted tours, costume contests, and other treats. This family event features classic dance hits by a local band.

November 8-11, 2010 – Veterans’ Week
In recognition of their service to our country, American veterans receive free admission to the museum this week.

• Every Sunday – Protestant Divine Services
Hornet Chaplain John Berger conducts church services at 11:00am in the ship's Chapel. All hands and guests are welcome. Free admission to the museum is granted for church attendees.

Splashdown 2009
The USS Hornet Museum held a 4-day festival celebrating the 40th Anniversary  of the Apollo 11 moon landing… and recovery. Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin and personnel from the recovery team were onboard for this tremendous event. Visit our official Splashdown 2009 page to see the event overview and photos.
